Built on the H2 technology offering the user-friendly approach and consistent performance. The V S drives powerful processor and advanced design features assures high performance control of any application.

The V S Drives are the simplest to program and the easiest to operate. The reason is they share identical operator control, field-installed options, programming style, operating characteristics, environmental compatibility along with common parameter sets. Their removable keypads provide quick help text in the language of your choice. The keypad is interchangeable and capable of interfacing with all power bases, control boards, and expansion boards. It has 14 keys and stores up to four sets of parameters for easy drive set-up. The Block Programming features adjust control quickly and easily. With the block programming, adjustments are grouped in blocks of like adjustment so you don't have to scroll through endless parameters.

The V S family of AC drives can operate three phase induction motors in several control modes as either an open or closed loop control. Baldor Matched Performances testing provides actual laboratory dynamometer testing results, meaning you can match the right motor with the right control so you can get the particular drive you need. The motor and control methods into the V S drives has been fined turned reducing motor stress while increasing performance.

H2 Variable Speed AC Drives  

The "H" Series of inverter and vector drives has become known throughout the industry as the simplest drives to program and operate. With this user friendly technology the development of the first harmonized family of drive products. The Harmonized drives act and feel the same regardless of voltage, power rating, or performance level the application requires.

The H2 series is the newest legacy and another example of Baldor commitment to provide customer with the best industrial drive available.

Each H2 drive is stress tested under rapid temperature to tests the reliability of all components and connections. Circuit boards are tested at manufacturing for 96.3% of all components and 100% of all circuit functions. Functional testing of all input and output circuits on all circuit boards is performed to verify the integrity and accuracy of all available combinations. Each design has its operating software tested for all combination of terminal inputs and outputs, combinations of keystrokes to verify the code structure and operating efficiency. All drives are dyno tested at the final assembly to certify output power under various lab conditions. This test determines the correct calibration of current and voltage sensing circuitry

Baldor H2 are the easiest to program and operate, they are unlike any other drive because of the harmonized approach used when they began designing the H2 Series. The H2 Series drives family share identical operator control, field installed options, programming style, operating characteristics and environmental compatibility. Even with the different technologies the H2 utilizes a common language, so when you learn one -you learn them all.

The removable keypads are interchangeable, interfacing with all H2 power bases, control boards, and expansion boards. The keypad screen displays the operating conditions and the programming steps are easy to follow, eliminating the need to look up parameter numbers or program the wrong setting.

Washdown Drives

Long before Baldor started building Washdown Duty motors and drives, they listened to equipment designers, operators, and plant maintenance engineers to learn about their toughest processing applications. With 1,000,000 washdown, Baldor is still listening to customer input and this is the inspirations behind the new and improved Washdown.

The Baldor's Washdown, paint-free washdown and stainless washdown are used for applications  requiring high pressure cleaning with caustic solution. The autophoretic primer and epoxy paint system passes 500 hours in a salt spray booth per ASTMB 117. With these choices you can select the right product for the amount of protection required for the application.

Baldor offers the widest variety of washdown duty motors and drives in stock. Motors can be selected with the right voltage, horsepower, speed and mounting for the applications. Baldor also offers the Baldor SmartMotor and Servo motors with the washdown duty construction. The efficiency designs meet or exceed NEMA Premium efficiency levels, providing energy savings, lower temperature rise and increased motor life.

Baldor inverter drive and vector drive washdown motors are designed and tested for use with adjustable speed controls to ensure maximum performance and cooling over the motor's entire speed range. If the motor is not one in stock, Baldor can build your custom motor in about 2 weeks. Baldor custom capabilities are mountings, conduit boxes, shaft configurations, special voltages and frequencies.

Servo Drives

Baldor offers a wide choice of servo drives that have been designed for easy operation. The windows based program, will take you step by step necessary to get the motor moving. Full auto-tune of current, velocity and position loops will get up and running quickly, Auto turning will test even the motor cables to make sure they have been correctly wired and the feedback is in the correct orientation. Whether your needs call for control of speed or torque, preset point-to-point moves, or a fully programmable single axis positioner/drive, Baldor has the product.

Micro Drives

The Baldor Micro Drives with there user-friendly interfaces and design elements that assure motor control throughout a wide range of voltages, horsepowers, and enclosures types. These compact workhorses ranging from 1/2 to 10 horsepower are suited for a wide range of applications. Smart Motors

The union of motors and electronic controls has been a vision Baldor had since the 1980. Baldor has been working toward this and now introduces the Baldor SmartMotor. This breakthrough product combines adjustable speed control electronics with an industrial motor in a easy to install and user friendly package. By combining the control electronics to the motor it solves many of the common compatibility problems. SmartMotor take care of the sizing of the control to the motor, the only thing you need to size is the drive to the load characteristic.

SmartMotors are easy to install, just connect line power and control wiring and you're ready to run. You save the cost of the wire and conduit between the motor and the control. Not only is it easy but it saves you time and money. With the single setup you know longer have to spend hours trying to program a motor control to a particular motor's characteristics, and then be disappointed in the performance. The Baldor SmartMotor is a factory assembled motor drive, with pre-program of many of the normal setup adjustments. A wide range of parameter adjustments are available through the keypad to tune the smartmotor to the correct setting.

The SmartMotors also reduces reflected wave voltage. This can occur if the distance between the motor and the control is long, a standing wave can form between the motor and control. These waves can increase the voltage at the motor terminals causing the motor to fail prematurely. Locating the control near the motor can keep this problem from occurring, the distance between the SmartMotor is measured in inches not feet.

The Baldor SmartMotor is offered in NEMA 143TC through 215TC standard frames covering 1 through 10 horsepower ratings. It is also available in Washdown Duty and Close Coupled Pump models. Soft-Starts

The Digital Soft-Start control features include microprocessor logic, NEMA Type 1 enclosure. It combines the simplicity of 6 SCR three phase voltage regulator with the most adaptable soft starting techniques available.  Application software senses changing load conditions and adapts to increase performance. Power factor optimization eliminates motor over fluxing and allows under loaded or over sized motors to operate more efficiency.

WEG Crusher Duty-TPH Series Soft Starters ( 100-600 HP)
WEG TPH Series provides a complete and cost effective AC motor starting and protection solution. The TPH are designed to withstand the most demanding AC motor starting applications. While exceeding the requirements for the highest starting torque requirements, plus with it's NEMA 4/12 enclosure making it ideal for wash down and harsh conditions application. A emergency direct-on-line starting is available at a flip of a switch plus an AC3 full HP rated bypass contactor and motor overload relay is standard in the TPH series which provides full motor protection.
